The network works towards
ensuring that governments treat women and gender issues
as a priority on their agendas and that the needs of grassroots
women in our societies are articulated both nationally
and within the Commonwealth structure. The main goal of
the CWN is to improve the quality of life of women throughout
the Commonwealth. The CWN seeks to influence and advocate
for policy changes on behalf of civil society in the Commonwealth.
